Between Now and Forever

My dreams of love are finally coming through

as I sit and gaze at you.

 Those beautiful dark liquid eyes

penetrate into my soul and fill it with sighs.

I knew from the first time I saw you

 That you felt the same way too.

The winds sing songs of our love

as they carry up two white doves.

.

Fingertips gently glaze my skin

 as melodies of our love begin.

Holding me within your circle of happiness

 I know our love will forever last.

Between now and forever in my heart

our love will finally start

.

When life’s a picture all black and white

 so much there that isn’t right.

A gentle smile and you begin to change the scene

 and rainbows of colors  begin to beam

And leaden weights turn into wings

how do you do those things.

Your eyes are saying without words

the sweetest things I have ever heard.

.

So much confusion so many tears

the sound of sadness in my ears.

Have all have been forgotten because of you

and all the love in what you do.

I’ll never again be all alone and sad

for  your love has made my heart glad

between now and forever

these strings of love no one

will ever sever
