We have to brace ourselves for a rough few years but that is where humanity shines through.

Excellent poem! So true and so real The last laugh. It's such a shame of the things that have happened and that mankind is doing blindly without hesitation and thought. I wish there was a way to undo this curse aka wake up the world to see the Beauty that was given. Thanks so much Sherry my friend

... and ain't she just laughing loudly?! Sadly, I rather think she is weeping and groaning instead, like with the birth-pangs of a new order and a new creation. Is man a sado-masochist? Not content with pillaging our world, we seem intent on poisoning ourselves as well... and all for pleasure or greed. Interesting times or ignorant times... seems like both to me; rocks and hard places with scarcely much fertile soil between. Like my head, for most of the time! Just hope SOMEBODY's head can get around all this soooon! Surgical write, Sherry, and bless you for your ongoing support which I know is there for me. LOL Kate xx

"Interesting Times" to charge the violators of Nature...
This poem came right on "Interesting Times" to wake up
Humankind, before their kids can't be rescued from a deluge
of blood.

I might be ignorant, but I don't know and never heard of this Chinese curse. Perhaps I had left Hong Kong too early in life. Anyway, mother earth has her own reasons for all the recent tantrums. Go figure that...

Fantastic apocalyptic poem, Sherry! Hard to argue with the way it is!
There's another Chinese saying "In order to get to the end of something you must go all the way through it" I think we're almost all the way through it...
