Mother Nature just forgot When it's winter -- When it's not. It really seems along the way Her January felt like May, And February took the place Of January's frigid pace.
So as a gift we ought to give A calendar by which to live. With no more winter days in spring No more frigid anything. Just give us fall days through the year No more blizzards close to here.
Have her make the temperature Warm and Cozy, that's for sure. Have her forget those winter sports. We'll exercise on tennis courts.
I won't miss the ice and snow With temperatures fifteen below. I won't miss the summer heat With hot cement that burns my feet. If she won't change, put her on trial And quickly vote her off the isle.
I think Mother Nature is fed up with our blatant disregard for the planet and she's giving us a taste of what may come to pass. Nicely done, Henry. Thank you. Love and peace to you,
I'm with you. I don't miss the snow and stay inside when it too hot. This year has been really strange weather wise. Tornados in February, and snow in May. There is something to this Global Warming thing that seems to be "fooling with Mother Nature."

However, I do NOT miss the snow and ice.
I like cold weather, but not cold PLUS wind. I used to ski, so I'm kinda partial to winter sports...but you're right, I'd much rather go swimming on a hot summer day. :) Well done!
Sounds like the weather here in Texas. We were warm for most of Dec. and all of January; then this week, the bottom fell out, and we have--ICE! In fact, I fell yesterday; landed right on my back with my arms (and my crutch) sticking straight up towards the sky. One minute I was up, the next--*BOOM* Flat on my back! Took me completely by surprise! LOL I am okay, though; I was stiff and sore, but I took a bath, and that took care of the worst of the pain. I even worked six hours today, and I am a little tired, but I feel great! :)
