It came from the Heart of Poetry that formulated an Inevitable Utterance (I have been taught that there ARE such things) and just HAD to find a voice - and no wonder she chose yours', Regis. From a spirit of arrogance, this would have come across as hard and proud; but from the soft and sensual beauty of your loving and compassionate soul, this is melting, vulnerable and sincerely longing. Regis I can feel the beat and hear the tune. I change the "would you" to "wouldya" tho. Now I know this rhyme is going to stay in my head! How about a chorus?

Good stuff- the best part although we feel as though the people are just meeting, this could be about any couple at any stage in their relationship as they change and grow, and I think it is much easier for some to let go, rather than hold on to love through ups and downs, thick and thin, especially in our throwaway, grass is always greener society.
Sometimes Bro. Regis. . . the call of the rhyme just has to come out and be heard. Nothin' at all wrong with accepting 'walk-in muse'.

This is interesting! It seems to me it is the female ego that has just met her alter ego. It says to me "sub-personality." We all need to meet our real selves. Nice duality prose, Regis!
