Wonderful metaphorical poem you've shared with us. Reading this poem with a pause at the end of each line I find the flow is off for me so I don't get to enjoy the poem as much as I would have hoped. Still, beautiful, vivid wording fills the page and I find myself lost inside the lines.

This makes me fall in love all over again. This is a sweet romantic poem very well writen: I love the imagery. Peace!!!

They say when we love a person, it is that the person embodies everything in the world - in nature, say, as you have it here, that we love. The individual becomes the personification of all we identify with and adore. i think you've captured that thought here. i guess it could be said that loving another, truly, completely, brings us most back to the self, to the comfort zone of the self, to being able to love and accept the self, and that is why the "other" means so much to us, because we find ourselves again, are no longer lost, by virtue of the other person. The other gives us back ourselves, leads us home, and thus we are lonely no more. They say that loneliness is not the absence of another, but a loss of the self.

A refreshing expression of love.

Ahhh, yes, Regis, how lyrically phrased. And as sweet Dorothy of Hollywood fame once stated, "There's no place like home."

The spoken word is but a mere vibration in the air. Still, speak the word "Home," and it can stir the emotions of a lost soul and move a person to tears. I dare say that to equate the value of one person as "like a coming home" is an extraordinary compliment. I certainly never would have brought it to mind.

"Coming Home" is another example of your unique and very special gift, Regis, in sharing wonderful things many of us don't even know exist.

Let me say that every visit to your Poetry site is like ...a coming home!
