Each day is a new beginning, and each of us has the same number of hours in the day.I thought about this truth, and a poem responded.

Just for Today

Just  for today, I will smile

As if I have the world on a string.

I will not think about anything

That challenges,burdens or saddens me,

Just for today.

So much can be done when I remember

To focus on the good, the true , like the

"Good Book" says.

Just for today, I will obey my higher self

And think positive,life affirming thoughts

Of all who enter my view.

Just for today I will let a smile adorn my face

For all to see,  just for today!

Barbara,
Beautiful poem. This advise is key to so much happiness. Most of us are either in the past or future. This is a great reminder to let go just for today.
