Unrequited love with a twist. Boy meets girl and one teases the other.

I'll show you mine if you show me yours,
that's what you used to say.
You'd touch me with your grubby paws,
and I'd slap your hand away.

Just two kids, that's what we were,
but never two of a kind.
Me with my silly hat of fur,
you with your dirty mind.

Remember when we were kids at school?
You'd sit next to me in class.
I'd try so hard to keep my cool,
as you'd slyly grab my .ss.

My parents both had well paid jobs,
attended every hunt ball.
Your parents were a pair of slobs,
they had no jobs at all.

I don't know what you saw in me,
or why you stayed my friend.
Always coming round for tea,
and pinching my rear end.

I laud the ground you walk upon,
loved everything you did.
I'd miss you so, when you were gone,
but kept my feelings hid.

When we got older, off you'd go,
out clubbing with the boys.
While I'd stay home, nowhere to go,
and play with private toys.

You flirted with the fairer sex,
and made love every day.
I'd just take walks with my dog Rex,
Wish you'd see me that way.

But I a foil for all your jokes,
and endless sex remarks.
You'd drink me in, like sipping cokes,
then spit me out in the dark.

You never act like real girls should,
you were laddish, like a guy.
I, a shy boy, little and good,
you always made me cry.

Now you’re gone I miss you so,
though married, for many a year.
You have a man and kids in tow,
me a bachelor for ever, I fear

Opposites attract. Sometimes they just can't get together. I recall the times I had crushes on some of the so-called "bad" girls around. Never followed through, though. And really bad luck with "good" girls in the process. Life is strange, like your wonderful poem shows.

This is quite a tale, Ken. Funny yet not so fun.
I got caught in that game of "I'll show you mine" at age 5
There I stood with my pants down while she laughed her butt off.
I'm still em-bare-assed.
