Dusk draws down Voices fill the air Mysterious melody Rises from the earth. Bird song stills. Amphibious chorus Fills time and space Glorious song of praise Rises to the heavens.

I love night sounds, even the barking of dogs and the hoot of the owl. It wasn't till I spent a night in the jungle in Guatemala that I realized that night sounds can be very different. Although they were mostly birds, the racket of the jungle is very loud and very wild.
