THE BREEZE

Nature serves its purpose from time to time!

 The breeze will help trees

To get rid of many leaves

There is no reason to suppose

The breeze serves its purpose

It blows the leaves off the trees

Cuts the weight comes big freeze

Sheddding leaves benefit trees

Much weight breaks the trees

There is no reason to suppose

The breeze serves its purpose

It blows the leaves off the trees

Cuts the weight comes big freeze

Falling leaves make way for snow

Trees can’t grip leaves and snow

There is no reason to suppose

The breeze serves its purpose

It blows the leaves off the trees

Cuts the weight comes big freeze

In spring times and summer’s

Leaves come in some numbers

There is no reason to suppose

The breeze serves its purpose

It blows the leaves off the trees

Cuts the weight comes big freeze

I find your work a puzzle again, Clarence. "There is no reason to suppose the breeze serves its purpose...yet "it blows the leaves off the trees"... it seems a contradiction to me...am I missing something? Sorry to be so dense.
Be well,
Kathy

...a delightful poetic description of the nature of a breeze
on the one hand...and reads metaphorically...the voice
of reasons...on the other...
Thank you Clarence for sharing your poem

Loved it, the poem that is. However, who does not like a nice cool breeze?

And hopefull y it blows those leaves right into the neighbors yard, because I hate raking leaves.
