Wings that makes the heart grow fonder

Last night as I lay in bed,
I felt abreeze go past my head.
I opened my eyes to see what could be
It was an angel watching over me.

I lay there in disbelief but it was real
rubbing my eyes the image was still.
reaching out for me to take her hand,
I looked at her and said I don't understand.

I took her hand and I felt so lite
like I was floating in the nite
She told me that she had came
to take care of me so I wouldn't feel shame

When I opened my eyes I said to myself
It was only a dream as I looked around
the clock was still set as when I laid down.
Then I saw a feather falling to the ground

The angel was real,At least to me
after that I had a wonderful sleep
