Never too old to dream...

There are those haunted hours,
recurring more and more persistently
when my wide awake psyche slips through
my narrow portal on the night,
summoned by a wanton, intoxicating whisper
to a carnal place beyond the planets and the stars,
a cosmic lair where salacious shadows sing
randy songs I never knew I knew,
until I swoon and stumble ass over inhibition
into the snare of her captivating spell.

"she" is a temptress and a tryster Gene. Her lure to that carnal place usually means major trouble. It is the wanton that overcomes our morality and casts a tall shadow. In dreams or no. ach, those salacious shadows that share with us their saucy cosmic sea shantys... with me it's normally stumbling over the inhibition of a stray lobster pot to the strains of the randy refrains muffling out through the steamed-up panes of the Moon and Sixpence on a Friday night! That certainly sobers the psyche into wide-awake mode when the clifftop air is dark and crisp on an inky February night... This lot, Moscow Drug Club, played there recently:
