That cushion that moved Oh, it must be killed if not disproved, Yarn that hangs from crochet hooks Soap bubbles and pages turned in books.
A spider running across the floor Reflections on the wall or door Everything within reach of a paw.
Shoe laces that really should be untied Imaginary mice that are often spied Making puss cats really wide eyed, Paper bags and cardboard boxes Let cats invent their own Fort Knoxes Each safe to dream of chasing foxes.
To pounce and chase is such great fun Happiness is in a madcap run In climbing trees and snoozing in the sun, Necklaces dangled, their paws to tease Giving chase to leaves blown in the breeze Such simple things a cat will please.

Like Dani's cat, my five simply became ecstatic when I happened to leave an empty cardboard box lying on the floor. Each of them couldn't wait to explore it. Now, I have empty boxes scattered about all over the place. Drives Rebecca mad!!!!
Ah yes! The world through cats' eyes! I've always been amused at the expense we "keepers of the feline" go to buying toys for our furry friends when in reality, a piece of string, or plastic thimble, or wad of paper satisfies them just as much. This is one of the best Acrostics I've seen Jackie and of course I LOVE the subject matter. Well done my friend......as usual!

I love cats I have four...five really, but one doesn't live with me ;)

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
