Skies wild with Might
Stars atwinkle at Night
Clouds so ominous, so Dark
Top o' trees forming an Arc
Leaves tap window Panes
Storms sweep lawns and Lanes
Dog roses bloom Last
Autumn heralds the Past
Rain pours in Streams
The man in the moon Beams
Crisp and cool, the Air
Power...so pure, so Fair
With summer's sorrow I part,
November winds caress my heart.
Loved the style presented here and the truth to the words you wrote. It is truly a scene out of a book about autumn and Nov. One of you best I read so far.
This is the third poem I've read of yours. Thus far, your style is thumping and powerful--you bleed ink! (Although I must ask if the picture of two bare trees is an ironic juxtaposition with the line, "Top o' trees forming an Arc." I hope so. I'm always a fan of the wink-and-a-nudge.)
A most enjoyable write
