spring growth

The river, bursting in flood, soaked tree roots sprout green. The lowest branches reach the grass. In spring, everything comes back. This day, as hope forgives, as the breeze brings childhood rolling back, the geese return, the sun, so clean, the morning, promising rebirth.

Yes, the rebirth of spring is a wonderful to behold. What was once made barren by the freeze of winter, comes alive in ways you describe. Nature finds away for spring flooding to be basically beneficial and not destructive. So unlike we think of our property as so important, but just temporary in nature's grand scheme of things.

You have briefly told a huge story with few words that let us know precisely what's happening. A real gift.
