I'm too lazy to decorate
I seldom bother with it
But I found a plastic
Ghost and pumpkin
And off I trotted, quite lit
With joy and enthusiasm
I was going to fuss
I set it out front
It says, "Look at us!"
We're into the spirit
Of spirits and Halloween
Whether we get
Trick or treaters
Remains to be seen
This poem is good, I smiled, we don't get trick or treaters either, we live up a hill!
Where will their cars go, we buy candy we like just in case!

forgive me Lynn, but my first thought when I saw your ghost guy sitting on the plastic pumpkin...I thought he was sitting on the commode...but the write is really good.
