Autumn

The leaves
they fall on woodland floor
My wildflowers
are no more

Nettles land
In golden bed
The sky at sunset
orange-red

A memory
is summers heat
And running ‘round
in dirty feet

Fields alight
in gentle glow
Into Autumn
here we go!
