When someone says they don't appreciate your poetry, think of the poems as be-u-ti-ful dandys that are flowers of beauty for a little 5-year old on a walk with her Papaw.
My poems idled like bright yellow dandys among velvet bluegrass, spoiling conformed scapes, wilting under pesti-comments, dedicated to purifying the field.
Then I remember the bonding walks with my granddaughter, her squeals of delight, picking those be-u-ti-ful yellow flowers, ignoring the green.
This is BEAUTIFULLY felt Rusty!
