Water

The waters of the ocean and the sea
are such a beautiful sight for me to see.
But not to forget the wonder of the lakes as well,
where people fish and sail boats sail.
The calming waters of all these three
are so delightfully soothing and healing for me.
Whether I am on a ship, a boat,
or sitting on a river bank,
for all this beauty,
to God I wish to thank.
Sometimes when the sun shines on the water
it looks very blue
and in the moonlight it is green
with a magical hue.
The waves rolling in have a heavenly sound
as I close my eyes and listen
while lying on the beach and sandy ground.
The small rolling creeks rushing over the rocks
are my favorites though,
because the brisk rustling sound,
soothes my very soul.
Especially if its source began at a waterfall,
it amazes me of the beauty of it all.
Even watching and hearing the falling rain is
as wonderful as can be.
Being around water in all its forms
is surely a great and peaceful pleasure for me.
