The beauty of spring brings a sense of peace and hope for the new day.
When taking a walk in the early spring, not too long after dawn, The air smells fresh and the sky is clear, as dew sparkles on the lawn. The morning silence is undisturbed except for some little birds, Perched in a tree over my head, singing their song without words. The pansies and the daffodils bloom in their garden beds, A bright patch of color greeting me as they lift their golden heads. The worries I carried along with me seem to blow away in the breeze, And I soak in the peace and beauty of life as the hope for this new day I seize. C Connie Arnold, 2007
