Autumn bleeds like a woman with a barren heart how can I make you believe I never meant to become what I was not Autumn weeps her dirty tears stain my shirt your love crackled beneath my feet disintegrated to pieces beneath my heavy hand just dust in my palm now they drift toward the ground slow-motion missiles smiling warmly in apology red and yellow and just a trace of that malignant orange blur my eyes send stabs of pain into my mind Autumn lies with her peaceful beauty deceptive calm the guise that made me just dust in my palm now.

Can't find a single line in this poem that's better than the other. I think you've just penned a new favorite of mine. Autumn has always been my favorite time of year. If only those colors could last forever.
