Things or at least a few of them that frustrate me :)

Why is the car in front so slow
When the loo you're desperate to go
Why is it that everyone else's speed
Is in reverse proportion to your need
How come the more your destination calls
The slower the surrounding traffic crawls

Why is it that last nights freezing bed
The one you approached with icy dread
Becomes much too cosy and warm
Ever to leave come the morn
And your mind is forever tore
'tween a cuppa and five mins more

Let me ask, is it just me
Or does everyone hate their little PC
When it waits for a memory full
Before the power it will pull
Or my keyboard fails with the plea
"To continue press the F1 key"

Something else that never fails
You see two items before the sales
Wanting both you take just one
Hoping the other won't be all gone
Of course Lady Luck is never that nice
They are and yours is now half price

Flicking through the channels on TV
To find something interesting to see
Ah! that show to watch you did intend
You're just in time to see the end
Nothing else worth viewing on all day
I wanted to write some poetry anyway!

Ah, David... you've been poking around in my head, haven't you? (grin) Is it just me? I find it most marvelous when someone with a real gift for meter and rhyme, tells a tale that makes my head nod and brings forth audible sounds like "yep"... or... "that's for sure"... and the ever-popular "you got that right!" Great stuff! katy xox.
