This haiku came to me as we took a walk one day. I have an inkling I will expand it further, having more fun with Turtle's thoughts!

My gentle husband Lifts Turtle across the road. Turtle thinks, “Groovy!”

I always remember the humor that Patrick put in his poems. Miss them. I'm glad that he has the good sense to help mama turtle on her way to find a good place to lay her eggs. Otherwise you wouldn't find any turtle of good sense that would leave the pond.
