Poem Artwork

 Look Around

Look around at the wonders you see.
Breathe in the air giving you vitality.
The flowers in bloom will heal and revive.
All of winters coldness so you can survive.

Listen for the birds songs to welcome you.
To a new spring and skies of pure blue.
Watch for the buds to replenish the earth.
Take in the joy with laughter and mirth.

Feel the spring rains as you did as a child.
Run through the droplets as if you were wild.
Look for the glorious rainbows after each rain.
Be glad winters gone and springs here again.

Bonnie, you have touched a special place in my heart -- the season of renewal, Spring -- surely the most glorious of the seasons -- Spring brings with it the promise, of life anew, life revived -- your poem is masterfully written, it's from the heart -- much peace and love to you my dear friend -- JMW

I am ready for Spring...but I wouldn't be sad if we had just one more good snow before then. Call me crazy...hee, hee...

We've still got a scattering of snow on the ground and the temp
is supposed to drop to near zero tonight, but dear Bonnie, if
you say that spring is in the wings, then--hot diggety! I feel
warm all over! -gene.

Beautiful anticipatory write about the coming of Spring. Only thing I don't like is the tornadoes - and no basements!! If you got one, can I come live with you? Karen, too??!?? LOL Well done, Bonnie.

This would make wonderful lyrics for a song about the demise of Winter. Hurry up Spring I want to see one more.

Very nice writing... I love weather when it's wild and crazy...as long as I'm not in it... hehe... but I love Spring, especially in AZ...because it's the sweetness before HELL sets in...hehe... hugs, lindalaw

Where the hell do you live, ain't no spring here yet...in fact its 16 degrees right now and I have three, count em' three separate heaters runnin in here...and one sounds like the fan is about to blow up,but it helps to a degree...I will let you know when the temps rise to a relatively normal degree, as this has been the coldest winter that I can remember on record here...ed

Living in Tornado Alley like I do, I dread the start of spring. I'd rather see snow or cold weather than severe storms; with no basement, it's of little comfort. I have already been in four tornadoes, don't care to be in any more, thankyouverymuch! Good write, though; very well penned!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(
