Finally got back into art...if u can call it that. One look will tell you what a strange bird I am. No wonder they pop up in my phantasmagoric...pictures?

Poem Artwork

Veering near, a moonless night

cheers  by putting on fur so white

it is blue, then sprinkling it with glitter

fine as fairie dust run through a sifter.

Not content, it chalks an egret -- think

it's an egret -- below a lapel, making

its eyes round as those of the moon

hiding somewhere, keeping warm.

Not dressed for snow either, I shiver.

If this is a dream, let's see more.

If it is real, somebody wake me

fast!!

A painter and a poet, what a delightful combination, each complimenting the other. Thank you so much for sharing.

it how you see or choose to see, Pea, and then
to show the reader that makes art and poem
the special pair they are

may 2013 be everything you want it to be, and more

In the eyes of the beholder
art is what one wants to see
..and Yours is pleasing to me,
an addition to your cute poem.

Phyllis, so good to see your poetry again...and you upgrade being an oddball aka strange bird by a mile.
Cheers,

Your originality shines forth! I think you are an exceptional artist.
I don't know why, but I see a heart, I see half a heart, and it seems to me to be saying one must look through the heart, not to try to look with the head. I am an odd duck too, though, so we're two peas in a pod? :)

I am no expert but to me, graphic art and verses complement one another very effectively. Thank you, Pea. Love and best wishes,
