Poetry by the young is always interesting to read.
Quite a helpful tool as a means for them to express whatever their hearts desire or feel.

Often times poetry can bring one closer to who they truly are or perhaps want to be. It seems beneficial to all to at least give it a whirl not to mention it can be quite interesting!

M.J. I just love this poem because of its encouraging spirit. I like the way you use repetition to give a sense of keeping at something, and the way it builds to a climax, like a good story until fear has been conquered! The title is ironic because you really are a great poet who has put your own poem into real life. Great job!

We have nothing to fear, but fear itself, and that is so true too. Because if we live in fear, then we miss out on all the wonders and joys of the world. This piece has a real message with these lines.

well...methinks the lady doeth protest to much...lol...MJ...you most certainly write good verse for someone who says they are not a poet. Whatever you decide to call yourself as a writer, I do hope you continue to write such delightful pieces as this.

Inspiration comes when the muse it up to it sometimes. When I feel the need to write and the brain just can't engage I take a picture put it in the page and pull out the dictionary. Now I can cheat and use the one on desk top. Lady J
