A rhyming acrostic that came to me when I awoke in midst of night. Since I could not get back to sleep, I made use of the time as I thought about friendship.

Friendship (Rhyming Acrostic)

Fledgling affection becomes love
Respectfulness fits like a glove
Intimacy is a treasure
Empathy becomes the measure
Never judging ever caring
Devotedly ever sharing
See these two friends walk hand in hand
Happy footprints across the sand
If such a treasure can be found
Perhaps it's having me around

Love this! short and to the point. Yes friendship is all about companionship, respect and affection. Just because 2 friends fight on principle, it is the loss of companionship that will draw them back together. Thanks!

First thing that I noticed as I looked at this poem was that the first letter (F) of the first line was smaller in size than the rest of the letters. The AD editor must have screwed it up I assume.

The poem itself is good though the flow is not perfect in my opinion.
