A Yellow Room with Large Red Roses
In a yellow room with large red roses on the wall
A room chiefly fit for hobbits vertically small
I would take my rest into the west north by south by east
To find the best having escaped the belly of the beast
And if sweet love should meet me there then that would be fine
I bring a string-bag with six apples on which to dine
If you have rice that would be nice and I would make some tea
And shake myself dry before I must fly across the sea
After apples after rice I think it would be nice
To see exotic lands where everyone understands
Nothing less than the wisdom of nonsense will suffice
Carried gingerly in exquisitely kid-gloved hands
A refugee from epidemics of obesity
A yellow room with large red roses is where I would be
