I have a fetish
I must sadly confess
For life without it
Would be infinitely less
I’m speaking of cheese
Be it Swiss or Romano
Or Cheddar or Brie
Or fragrant Parmesano
Or Soft Monterey Jack
With jalapeno slice
On toasted tortilla
With Mexican rice
Don’t forget mozzarella
Piled high on the dough
With bountiful toppings
Makes my pizza a show
I love the fontina
Atop french onion soup
Melted with croutons
A marvelous goop
I love cheese cut in wedges
I love cheese cut in cubes
I love cheese cut in slices
I love it best in fondues
There’s only one cut I really don’t like
Treating this as a serious matter
Because when the dogs cut the cheese
There’s no where to hide
Making the entire household
Frantically scatter

Sounds like we now know who really cut the cheese! (My spouse likes to blame it on the dogs, too!)
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

Hilarious! But your lettuce sentence is true, not just for dogs, but for people!
