Relying on a computer is sometimes like relying on a condom. It has a tendency to fail when you need it the most.

Poem Artwork

Computer’s down

System wide

MIS guys

Run and hide

The boss is pissed

Got the gist

Something about

Profits missed

Not a whole lot

I can do

Drink the coffee

Till face turns blue

Wait for cursor

To revive

To finish project

Before five

If that don’t work

Well what the hay

Tomorrow is

Another day

The problem today is that you can't slow down and God help you if you stop! Bredband is here to stay, and if you have megabites they will want tomorrow gigabites and Scotty-beam-me-up!!!
This world is made for a new generation of supernerds!!!

Computers are such wonderful devices. On the other hand, that damn blue screen that comes up with a condom failure can really be a sign of problems to come.

Hi Patrick
Those pesky messages that appear on the screen are frustrating too. I need my better half to translate. Cheers, Liz

There is nothing I can add here Patrick, I' not conversant with either of the two, but as far as the curser, yes I do that often because of it. Blessings! Jasmin Horst

One of these days, when computers actually do rule the world they are all going to up and say I quit. It'll take us thousands of years before we can write a paragraph without a spellchecker.

I magically erased all my files over the weekend at home. Brilliant move on my part. Lots of technical glitches going on all over the shop for me these days. Brakes failing, lights going out in office, computer crashing, etc. Tomorrow is another day, I'll hold that thought with high hopes for now. Take care. Fun poem.
