Some days work out just right.

Took a chance and rolled the dice Somehow snake eyes came up twice Two pair of pips, the dog throw won The odds of rolling each thirty six to one When you’re hot you’re hot so they say Something I won’t refute today Found a fin in the lot next to my car Spent it on a fine cigar Every green light driving home from work Rainbow in the sky was a scenic perk Dogs pleased to see me with wagging tails A cold one in the fridge the door unveils Slice of pepperoni pizza with extra cheese Reclining in my chair doing as I please Eyes are getting droopy now the day is done Just wishing every day was this much fun Shuffle off to bed to continue my snooze Room is doing circles drank too much booze I have a sneaking suspicion tomorrow won’t be Nearly as much fun oh shame on me Copyright 2011 Patrick Granfors

Well, let's see, pal. It's now 8:07 am and it's a neat sixty degrees outside and the sun is coming out and I'm heading to meet a bunch of friends for a bicycle ride and, for a seventy-six year old guy I'm feeling really fine. So, yeah, though not rolling double snake-eyes, it does look like a really nice day here in SoCal.
