There once was a fellow named Max
Who decided not to pay any tax
The IRS he would screw
Because he already knew
He could working for Goldman-Sachs
There once was a fellow named Mitt
Whose opinion was decidedly split
Many said he flip flopped
So he should be stopped
But for Mitt there was simply no quit
There once was a fellow named Newt
Whose campaign had plenty of loot
But critics said not so fast
In his congressional past
For his ethics he was given the boot
There once was a fellow named Obama
Who in tea party hearts induced trauma
But re-election seemed assured
When the media passed the word
Republicans can’t defeat their own drama
There once was a governor named Palin
Who loved to shoot wolves and go whalin’
But her presidential bid
Was undone by her kid
Where in some states, the father they’d be jailin’
There once was a man named Rick Perry
Whose debate skills for him were quite scary
When his mind would go blank
His opinion poles sank
Reminding us of Curly, Moe and Larry
There once was a fellow named Ron Paul
With little name recognition at all
Libertarian in his views
Most folks will refuse
To make him their choice in the fall
There once was a fellow named Santorum
Who emerged victor in Iowa’s Forum
But his conservative ways
Of hating liberals and gays
Raise questions of his political decorum
There once was a candidate named Herman
Whose manager looked very German
But that never mattered
His campaign was battered
By the women he treated like vermin

Very clever my desert dwelling friend
who's mind would twist and bend
who's grandma made cabbage rolls
that caused me to go buy some of those,
that gave me stomach gas that did not end.
Okay, so this is a stinky limerick.
