The Devil Made Me Do It

It's not my fault, as you can see
The devil made me do it, and strong is he

Some blame others, for things gone wrong
Others blame the words in this very song
There's stress at work, overtired, and many more
But the devil made me do it, ~ and that is for sure

Well watermelon wine, makes you believe your tall
Yes even big and strong as any brick wall
Some say they don't remember, the things they do
People using this excuse, I certainly know a few

It makes some people think, they know it all
But with me, ~ I just do the watermelon crawl

Yes whiskey can do strange things to you,
I certainly can remember doing a few
But I'm telling you it was the devil himself
that made me post this here for you

If you are not a poet...then, we have been doing something wrong with our pencils.
One of my trackers told me when I had posted 666 poems that it was the mark of the beast and to post, quickly, another one. I also could have said the "the devil made me to do it"

A friend sent me a joke email with a little animated devil on it That said

"The Devil Made Me Send This"
It was all down hill from there LOL
