We...remember
the living and the dying of those
who ventured
to defend our homeland...for us!
We, this blessed nation...'we'
are the benefactors
of their ultimate sacrifice
Today, I looked at a photo
of Arlington National Cemetery
and as I gazed I felt different things...
regret, sorrow, lost, gratitude
and, of course, pride
For there, under those white
headstones...lay the remains of
mothers, fathers, sons, daughters,
sisters and brothers,
family, friends...countless heroes
whom we never knew and
will never know...yet
they 'chose' to take a stand
for me...and you
I regret that I never knew them
and I'm sorry that they didn't
make it back...
the lost of such unselfish people...is felt!
But then...I am so proud
of these brave, beautiful Americans
who said 'yes' to God and country...
and I am more grateful for them
than I could ever express
Grateful for their songs,
their laughter, their pain...their living
and for their blood...that was spilt!
Grateful for the 'freedom' that we take for granted
but enjoy...each and every day
Thus, it is so fitting
that a day of honor and appreciation
has been set aside
for our fallen soldiers, indeed...
Those...'Extraordinares'
whom we must never, ever forget...
but always and forever
...Remember!

well done, as always
We should never forget our brave men who served for our country
And above all we should always back them up when in harms way
And never leave them behind as this administration did in Lybia
Love ya!
