You are quite right Jeremy. Most in society have blinders on...you see what you want to see, and hear what you want to hear. The truth makes those who live in pretense VERY uncomfortable. I love the style and the message of this poet's work - it means something to so many. Amen and keep on writing!

I love the fact that reviews for poetry in the Den are limited to stock phrases like, "Good write" unless the poem is political. Now instead of "good write," you are told you're "misguided" because you see through the garbage and the lies spread forth by a neo-fascist theocratic regime to its flock. This from a white boy American in New York. This from a person who grasps simple history. I was here when the towers went down and I can tell you who did it: Al Queda. I can also tell you who gave the marching orders: Osama bin Laden. I can further tell you who gave him his green light: The Bush Administration. I feel like most of us know this but are in denial because it's too brutal. And so it went with 1940's Germany....

Your presentation is good.

However, it is conceived that you have misguided, biased concepts of reality. Though I do not agree with some of the approaches and concepts, USA is doing what is necessary and what others don't seem to have the backbone to follow through on.

Regardless, your poem is a good write - and this forum welcomes freedom of expression. Well done.

I believe that you believe in what is a misguided view of the world as seen through the eyes of socialist. I for one am proud to support President Bush, and you matter not to me.

I don't know. I really don't agree. But you must also have the right in freedom of expression as we do in the USA. It is comforting indeed know how you look at the the President of the United States. It reflects on how you look at me and the ones serving this great land. Let it be noted that all in agreement with you are either born in or from different countries than America. I would like to hear what some people from the USA think about your poem.
I disagree...but I rate a poem on its value not what you say. So this gets a very high mark because it aroused me t speak out and maybe it might arouse others. If it does, you really rate a
