"Bleeding Dust"

She walked away from barren land

To seek some life {love}

In new found ground

Away from bleeding dusty sands

She found another broken heart

Bleeding with this land

Stark reality now facing her

All she could do was just stand and stare

From dust to dust she soon will be

Living across this barren land

Where hearts will forever be!!

As bitter tasting waters from above

Torched and burned away

Poisoned in time and remembrance

But when time does come to say goodbye

As hot dry wind blow bleeding dust away

And as harshness scorched the ground

To turned clay into bleeding dust

We will rest our heads on barren sand

As bleeding dust will fill our hearts

And with dripping tears in drifting sand

We will feed this once barren land

Great photo, great description of the hereafter and how it is to be. Great painting, I mean, did not get the music have no speakers. But I believe there are mansions waiting there for us and beautiful colors much more than the sands and barren land. Associating this with what Rose Rideout and her words pertain to my thinking too and helped me see this poem as it should be seen.

And that is what I am doing (I hope) with my writings about my community. To "feed this once barren land", that has everyone at each other's throats, and any excuse will do for a fight. I hope to feed this barren land and make a better resting place for our weary heads, so that there will be no more prejudice, bigotry, fighting, hate, wars, violence, abuse, and what ever bad things people can think of. I hope all this goes away someday, and we have a world where we can actually live in real peace. The picture compliments this piece very well Tinka. Thank you for sharing this thought provoking poem.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), little sister, Barbie

Sometimes the torching and bleeding of twin souls entwined at the stake brings more relief than the sharing of shelter within the well-watered oases of distant love. This is a real "feeler", Tinks... and guess you could feel/hear my heart beating as my son took that dodgy jump close to home, huh? If I had been close by, you'da been filling my veins with Amarula to steady me... I love the great capture of light in your picture... love, Kate xx

Excellent write Tinka, as there will always be broken hearts where ever we go but theree is always that one special heart that is stronger then most and if bleeding dust is blowing over it, it is because they too are waiting . Thank you for sharing.

Dear Ed,

Nope no itching!!

The painting is about this elephant (me) seeking a better place across horizons wide and oceans deep....just to find out that by going there I will find corps of other broken heart...and I will die of another broken heartache anyways...and that the liquid my dead body will leave behind...just might feed a dry plant or something...and through that bring new life!!

And the bleeding will color the soil/dust of fate!!

Hope this makes sense!!

Love Tinka
