War on terror has arrived in Somalia
Somali Islamic Clerics have been routed
In unknown bunkers they are now hiding
Somali and Ethiopian forces gave a chase
But certainly unable to accomplish the job
US air force has extended a helping hand
Extensive air engagements are underway
Bombardmetns have already claimed lives
But not only the suspects are the victims
A humanitarian operation has been curtalied
Food distribution was brought to a halt
Flood affected commumnities live in hunger
Air drops have turned out to be lethal
As bombs, not food, are reaching the people
And tanks, not trucks, are roaring in the bush
Please fight the war to curb terrorism
But don't forget the human face of war
Along with the bombs and wheezing bullets
Please provide hope to let people live
without wining the hearts of the people

Thank God, my brother, you and yours are safe; ever since I heard the news, I've been frightened for you. Stay safe; and know not all Americans are bad. The ones in power don't consult the "normal" people and ask them what they think..........we, the Americans, are biting off more than we can chew.
