Mr Haji, a somali in the area of the bombing,said: "The number of the dead we have confirmed until now is 150 dead. But, every day, new reports are coming in and that number is expected to rise.
"America strikes from the air. Ethiopian tanks are coming in over land and the Kenyan border is closed. The people have no escape. Hundreds of cattle were killed and no aid is being allowed over the border. It is a hellish situation." This is what a somali has said over the bombing mission in the southern tip of the country in pursuance of Al-qaeda members. It has transpired now that none of the targets has been hit.

What next, big boy?
Re-route clerics?
Bring them back?
Start bombing again?
We are worried
We live in fear
No where to go
No where to stay
Clerics have the key to Somalia's problems. They should be given a second chance to lead the people of Somalia towards peace, law and order. Abdullahi Yussuf, Mallez Zenawi and co. are a group of losers. They want to keep the status quo in Somalia: war, anarchy and lawlessness.
Trying to get the terrorists by bombing is like trying to kill all the mosquitos by spraying a single can of bug spray. Chances are that we will kill more of the beneficial insects than the mosquitos...so it is now with the bombings. I can't help but wonder if the bombing is a tactic to get the people frightened enough that they turn over the terrorists. That would never happen because a snitch will not only lose their life but the lives of their entire family. I hope things improve, Abdi-Noor.

The situation is painful and reprehensible. In the hunt for a few, hundreds of innocent beings have been literally obliterated. Incidents like this make it difficult to dintinguish whether the mission is to destroy and discredit terrorism or develop and dessiminate it worldwide. May the Almighty alleviate the pain and suffering of people around the world and rid this world off cruelty and ignorance, at least at the leadership level.
