When you live in a war-torn nation you are no more than a torn-apart teardrop.

As I pull myself out from the rubble I shine through a fog of despondency Glowing brightly like a candle of hope I emit a soothing sparkle to all directions Being a poet of peace I live in a land of war Where old conflicts are solved with new ones Where divergence is a means of convergence Where similarity only breeds ugly differences

Such a sad write. Wouldn't it be much nicer if people would recognize heach others rights, respect each others religion and live in peace around the world. It would certainly be a better place for our children to grow up in. Thank you!
