A species,

if it wants to survive,

needs to adapt to it’s environment.

The ones which are the most highly adapted

will displace the ones who are less adapted.

At times that goes hand in hand with mass extinction.

Afterall, life is evolutionary.

This my friends, is true for humans too.

While we may currently be

the most intelligently evolved species on earth,

as time passes we must continue to evolve.

Clearly the fact that we do not live in harmony

shows that we have not reached evolutionary nirvana as of yet.

The sad news is that our evolution

will include our own near extinction,

a result most likely from a variety of causes

all occuring at the same time.

Lack of clean drinking water.

Loss of ecology, resulting in famine.

Disease.

And of course that thing that is on everyone’s minds right now

WAR.
