cutting round the ear

each falling hair sings down to the floor

glacier eyes against a miserable grump

"Dadaism heeds"... there seems to be subtext here. And a clue (perhaps). Considering that Dadaism is a nihilistic art movement based on irrationality and the negation of accepted laws of beauty, one might construe that (perhaps) the wife cut the husbands hair somewhat badly and he got pissed. This is intelligent humor. The kind I prefer. Peace. r

Is that the origin of the barbershop quartet? Serially, I prefer a talking barber rather than a singing one, so I can hear the latest politics and gossip going around while I luxuriate myself to steaming hot towels and the barber's expert shave every morning as I read the paper.
