In response to a poem from Susan Sparks, this is about her problem with her bathtub...LOL Check out her newest poem: "Splish Splash, I Was Takin a Bath..."

Poem Artwork

Haunted Bathtub…

Herein we have a writer name of Susan,

Her bathtub being haunted, the crux of her problems,

Kittmandog, their cat, knows of this ghost that inhabits the tub,

He jumps in to see, but Susan knows not, that is the rub…

She still uses the tub for its intended use,

If it were me; I would think about a shower, but no use,

Susan is stuck on baths, an old-fashioned desire,

But in reality they are more relaxing, even when hot as a fire…

We have to hope, this ghost he has the scope, to understand eventually,

He is dead and moves on to greener pastures,

In this way Susan can in the future cope,

With the memory of a haunted bathtub, she should not just mope,

The first thing to do once an exorcism of the ghost is complete,

Go out and buy a new Jacuzzi with all the accoutrements, including a seat,

More fun will that be, for her hubby and her, both can take a bath together,

Making it safer when one stands to exit,

Thereby, if the ghost should return to haunt, he will find his tub,

Amongst the missing, gone, extinct, in the back yard as a bird bath,

There the ghost & birds can do their thing and get scrubbed…

Methinks it's the ghost of the owner past--he was 103 when he passed on a few months ago. A coworker was teasing me yesterday and told me I needed to get old folks rails on my tub--that's when I told him that I DO have old folks rails. I'm not ready to get rid of my tub yet--it's an antique tub, but it might make a nice fishpond with a peeing fountain statue out in the front yard. My aunt did the same thing with an old antique bathtub she had.

I'm guessing it's a female ghost - former owner of the house - really wicked - female ghosts are the cruelest!
