I was recently called this by a young lady I truly respect,

But how she found out is beyond my circumspect...

Poem Artwork

A Card Carrying Looney Toon…

Called this I was, how ever did they figure it out?

My doctor he did say, nothing ever about,

People finding out about my having a minor psychological problem, no doubt…

Well if that is the case, I have to bring myself forward and admit,

Yes, dear friends of the Den, I have this little problem, to whit,

I sometimes get a bit loony tunes, but only when I write too many obits…

My job is you see, to write the obituaries for a large city,

I can never stop, so many die everyday, yes you should listen to what I say,

You must be able to tell just how crazy I can get, so don’t forget,

To protect yourself if ever you notice me in that sort of mood…

Tha, tha, that’s all folks…

Cute write; and how did you know I love the Looney Tunes characters? We ALL are a little LOONEY TUNES at times, Ed; you certainly aren't alone in THAT department! I can be looney tunes myself when the time calls for it!
