Jackalope…

Bet ya Ed K never saw one of these,

They inhabit the western mountains, so please,

When you drive out there, be cautious not to drive,

Like that of a bat out of hell, oh goodness geez…

They are carnivores, not the normal bunny,

No lettuce, no carrots, no salad, buddy,

For these animals only eat the meat off the bone,

Then take the rest of the meat, home…

If your should run into one of these creatures,

On the road, in your yard or elsewhere,

Be sure not to offer them food from your hand,

As they will take the food, your hand as well, and leave you with,

Nothing but a bloody stump, where you can attach a bell or shell…
