When you gotta go you gotta go, especially at the age of nine...

Poem Artwork

I Gotta Go, Mom…

I gotta pee mom,

Yes right now,

No, I can’t wait,

No, don’t look,

At me holding on…

But mom I got to go, right now,

But Eddie, the sign says stay in the car,

How can I use the toilet if I stay in the car?

I can’t hold it back much longer,

Of course I am not feeling fine,

Said little Eddie at the age of nine…

Okay, my son, I will take you to the ladies room,

No, I am a boy, I can’t do that, they will all see,

Boys are different than girls; I have a little pee-pee,

Kinda like a really small without the bristles, broom,

Your embarrassing me mommy, yes I will go to the men’s room…

OOPS, its okay mom, too late, I did it my pants & it ran down my leg,

Daddy back in the car, what’s that pungent odor, says he?

Your little boy could not hold it back, and you just cleaned the rugs & seats,

What did I tell you Eddie my boy, about peeing in your pants?

Another rap in the mouth; no he can’t; as I am in the back of the wagon,

You gotta come out sometime kid, till then the smell should be punishment enough,

Even the dog is shying away, it maybe better if Eddie was outside tied to the bumper,

We could then not worry, no more would we have that smell in the back, he would be outside draggin’!
