Dream Castle…

In a castle I was during sleep,

Feeling altogether quite cheap,

I went there to get some rest,

All I got was a scare, which was quite less.

Paid full price, expected a bed that was full, no less,

Got more than I bargained for, didn’t pay for the ghosts,

Moving rooms, stairs gone, exits blocked, should have stayed on the coast,

A nice little B&B would have been better, would have cost little at most…

Oh no, instead, I had to stay at the castle,

The castle of the dead, this place such a hassle,

I hope I herein did facile, as it was a horrid dream,

Could it have been the news of an old friend dying?

Not sure am I, but I am of course not lying,   Well almost not...

Love the picture Ed! I can imagine both lovely dreams
and horrid nightmares happening there! Well done!

I'm, of course, sorry that you had such a tough time with dreams, Ed... But... But... sigh.. that place looks like a hugely great place to explore, to discover.. Tell you what: we'll hold hands and creep slowly in and around.. in broad daylight, obviously! But, jeez.. I can't help it.. it's a gorgeous old wonder you've pictured here. Wanno see? Maybe you'll stop being afraid of it if we go... hmmmm? katy xox.

It fascinates me quite often how so many writers in AD often write on similar topics, on the same day.

This, too, would make a wonderful creepy crawly story, Ed. And you probably already know, I do love the creepy crawly stuff.

PS I would love to visit that castle in your picture!

What a lousy dream to have! i am queen of nightmares...so this is mild compared to some of mine...lol. But if you received news of an old friend dying...then no wonder your sleep would be riddled with ghosts...
