I Am a New York Driver…

I leave the casinos in Atlantic City,

Lost a lot of my dough, what a pity?

I get on the parkway to head north,

Never do I pull out of the left or fast lane,

Driving erratically or even quite insane,

Who cares if NJ law states, Keep right, Pass left, no one here knows my name…

I am a New York driver; yes, I am from New York,

I am such, as far as others are concerned, a dork…

People pass on my right,

Shaking heads and hands in visual gripe,

Giving me the finger, I have seen before that reaction,

I come from the Big Apple, we reply in kind to that action, very little tripe…
