On the mind 24/7...

Poem Artwork

SEX…

Now that I got your attention,

Is it not funny how three little letters,

Does get the attention of so many of my betters,

Guess I ought to add that word to all my writings with letters…

Chances are that sex is on your mind,

Hell it is on my mind, 24/7,

But unfortunately that is as far as it gets,

From my mind down to my organs, there must be a short,

Without it getting there I cannot attach myself to my other half’s port…

Speaking again of SEX, we try to avoid it, as it is better not said,

We don’t want the world to see that when we discuss it we turn red,

But we are quick to do “it”, jumping right into bed,

Even those of us with a “problem,” still try not to be, in appearance dead…

So for all you sex heads out there, there may come a day,

When going to bed may mean only just that, to sleep, to dream,

Of better days in bed with those we love, those we just want to in, cream…

i remember that word but unfortunately, i've forgotten what it means...i told my sister yesterday that i had done something awful and instead of thinking i had illicit sex with the mailman or used some designer drug or something exotic like that...she said "you stopped for ice cream didn't you?" and she was right...so much for sins these days

I didn't have my reading glasses on, Ed, and I thought the title was 'Sox.' I was hoping it was a poem about how warm sox can keep old folks like us warm in bed on cold winter's evenings.

Sorry. Write On.
