Texas is Sinking…
No more presidents from the great state of Texas,
Very few if any residents will be left there either,
As it is sinking into the muck and mire,
Of all the old melted rubber tires,
That the good ole boys did dump there from the many shires…
So much rain, good for crops, good for a drought,
No one down there knows how to swim,
Little do they see so much water in one place,
Would not want them to drown, when running away north,
They do quite so fast; yes running away with great haste…
The special K twins do live down there,
Bet you they wish they stayed in Ohio, so much more fair?
First storms of great intensity, then wind of tornadic proportions,
Now rains with proportions that of a monsoon,
All good reasons to live up north, not to mention the good ole boys,
Cowboy hats, horses and pickup trucks, they have got to have their toys…

the weather might not be fun, but this poem is a laugh a minute! thanks for thinkin' of us here in waterlogged texas; the pic is so appropriate for this whimsical poetic farce! i hope this weather breaks soon; i can't swim, and if the water gets any higher, i may be a dead duck...LOL

it's not only texas that has been inundated, ohio has too...talked to my daddy, he said they had 120 inches of snow...WHAT???? if they translated all of the rain they have had into snow, that's how deep it would have been...and it's getting deep LOL
