Make mine black with sugar...

Poem Artwork

Coffee, Black with Sugar…

In the morning to awaken,

Through out the day to stay alert,

In the evening, just before five,

To make it to my last stop,

Then home to stay alive…

Is this not an addiction?

I would call it so, my doctor’s prediction,

Not any of this would be fiction,

Happy that drinking coffee and driving,

Cannot be considered, as of yet, for a conviction…

Plenty of sleep the prior night,

Could spell the end for coffee during the daylight,

Caffeine the main ingredient, still to be found in soda as well,

But nothing can awaken me late day,

Like the amounts of caffeine in a cup of coffee, so I say…

MMMMMMMM... Ahhhhhhhhh... nothin' like morning coffee. I make a pot at night and refrigerate it.. then, over tons of ice, I pour my lovely, black (NO sugar or cream) liquid heaven. Ahhhhhhhh... you got some good sleep, Eddie? That's cool news, oh yes! I think you've found your smile again... (I can hear Rufuz giggling), hehe... katy xox.

I live on the caffeine in coffee, Ed; makes me really demented; makes me want to write epic BUG poems, SPLATTING the Splatterers! I better go make another strong pot, before Mad Splat Andy starts the war up - again.

PS Link, You do look good in a suit! You can always buy those clip-on ties. And Stand By; we may need you soon.

Good one, but do you know, (of course you wouldn't) that I have had only one cup of coffee in my life, I just cant stand the smell of it.
