Pizza, Pickles, Candy and Beer

No wonder my dreams are as they are, I just found the leftovers from last nights binge...

Poem Artwork

Pizza, pickles, candy and beer…

No wonder my dream states are as offbeat as they are thats clear,

All the above I do eat when high I get, better than going to a bar,

Costs less at home no need to go out and roam,

Looking for something more crazy or bizarre…

Watching TV, surfing online, listening to music, all at the same time,

Multi-tasking I can do when I do get a buzz, even do I, pick up Ruffiez fuzz,

Cleaning the house, washing the dishes, grooming the dog, feeding the fishes,

All this and more do I do when high I do get, sometimes I do lie though, just a bit…

No driving do I do, as I get so paranoid, I even lock my door before sleep,

Usually I believe Rufuz will protect me, keeping away the creeps,

Some of my best poetry has come from my “id”, my dream state a big junk heap…

Hey, Katy stole my line and Mountain Poet stole my line! Are you sure you're not pregnant? I would love to eat like this, but unfortunately I'm hypoglycemic. Oh well, at least I would die happy.

Aha! sounds like you're pregnant, Eddie M! hehehehehe... that's quite a combo of goodies! I like this one... it's special and the rhyming and humor are scrumptious! (grin) You have a knack for combining grins with 'slice-of-life' truths... like tuning in to a favorite sit-com. hehe.. You're kooky and grand. katy xox.

I'll add a last line (to go with the garbage can)
"Under the lid," to rhyme with "id." Of course, of course.
